Cyber Security
Angel Guard uses a fully closed system for its AI Technology which means that external access to data is limited only to authorised users. Each user can only view data from their own organisation and area, no-one else's.
All Angel Guard units are locked with magnetic locks to prevent unauthorised access. They are also equipped with military grade security measures. These include no use of WiFi, only fully encrypted data packets are sent to and from each unit. personal and sensitive data is not stored locally (including on RFID tags) - instead it is kept only on our safe and secure remote cloud system. All access to data and the physical AG units is fully recorded and monitored. We also ensure all AG staff are fully security vetted and our premises are also kept fully secure. Finally, Angel Guard has in place a detailed disaster recovery plan to cover every situation should it occur.
Green Charter
Angel Guard aims to be astutely aware of it’s impact on the environment in all of it’s operations. To this end it has created a green charter which includes material choices, manufacturing processes, waste management, maximum recycling, carbon footprint reduction, energy sourcing, and use all to remain environmentally friendly.
This has lead to careful planning and execution throughout our organisational processes from initial enquiry to manufacturing to installation, commissioning, maintenance and servicing.
For example, all Angel Guard units are made from at least 60% recycled materials. With over 90% of materials being recyclable Angel Guard ensures that all units are properly decontaminated and its parts recycled at end of life. AG units are packaged in re-usable bags which are sent back to headquarters for cleaning and re-use. Air travel is kept to a minimum with train travel encouraged. All lighting within our factory and offices are up to date low energy LED versions with electricity purchased from 100% renewable sources and zero use of natural gas.
As of 2020, Angel Guard began to use fully electric vehicles and intend to expand and be one of the first emission-free fleets of vans and cars in the UK. Journeys to site are also kept to a minimum by use of our sophisticated automated remote systems and expertly trained Guardian staff members who aim to resolve any issues from our UK control centre.
Sterile Manufacture, Install & Service
Angel Guard is setting a new standard in hygienic production, installation and maintenance of sanitary devices for healthcare use. All AG units are made in a clean room environment at our Angel 1 Headquarters. They are never water tested but instead are tested using dry nitrogen gas. Angel Guard make all of their units to order so all units are made just one day prior to shipment. Our dedicated transport partner Paul Ponsonby then collects each unit and delivers them in fully clean and static free vehicles to the hospital where our Service Scientists will be waiting to install the unit wearing clean overalls, shoe covers and gloves. They will install the unit with sterile tools which they will only use on that unit prior to them being sterilised again. These conditions will be repeated by our Service Scientists each time they come into contact with a unit including during unit commissioning, servicing and maintenance.
