Earlier this year, the water management company Angel Guard managed to win the National Technology Award’s “Innovation of the Year” prize for their innovative Clarence Monitoring System beating many blue-chip companies.
The National Technology Awards is one of the largest celebrations of technology throughout the year, organised by National Technology News. The Awards encourage growth, excellence, and innovation among pioneers of technology. This year marked the 7th annual celebration, with the 8th taking place in 2024.
The award came after careful consideration from an expert panel of industry judges, with the award itself being announced at the prestigious London Marriott Hotel. #
Angel Guard believes this award came after much hard work from the company’s development teams, including the launch of the O-1, a second model measuring up to four temperatures and flow events at once.
Angel Guard were very pleased to receive the award, going from strength to strength after their rebrand earlier in 2023. The company has also successfully launched a ground-breaking new clinical washbasin unit called Raphael, a world-first antimicrobial polymer - KELT-7 as well as Seraph Protect Services for water management solutions.
Angel Guard’s IT Director Gary Arbuckle was present to receive the award, having contributed a great deal towards the system along with his colleagues. On receiving the award Gary said, “We’re simply thrilled to have received an Innovation of the Year award for the Clarence system. It’s so important for your hard work to be recognised by an institution like the National Technology Awards. As a company we’re always working towards improving compliance as well as helping to save lives by ensuring water is safe inside buildings.”
