How do we monitor?

Real Time Sensors Monitor

Angel Guard Units contain a variety of different precision sensors monitoring many parameters 24/7 - including current flow, last flow event and periods of flow. Hot and cold incoming temperatures, current temperatures and temperature changes in-between flow events. In addition units have up to 3 biofilm monitors positioned in critical areas such as the hot and cold water pipes and the outlet itself. As a Biotechnology company, we believe that innovation is essential to bring sanitaryware into the modern world.

Risk Assess

Each unit risk assesses itself 24/7 based upon the above data and other data such as number of uses, when the unit was last cleaned, has unauthorised liquid been poured down the basin, when and what was the last countermeasure issued and how effective it was. A risk level is then assigned to the unit and, if required, a countermeasure will be either requested (Gabriel) or issued automatically (Michael) with all actions and data stored for future reference.

Halo Protect

Halo Protect is a 24/7 service offered exclusively by Angel Guard and is an integral part of keeping patients safe. Our Guardians monitor all units 24/7 from our UK control centre responding to alerts and liaising with healthcare staff including infection control and estates teams to gather more information when required. In addition, our fully trained and certified Service Scientists will regularly visit the unit to calibrate all sensors and ensure on-going reliable data is gathered.
